Software and Data Carpentry Workshops

Since March 2016, OSU HPCC has worked in collaboration with OSU Libraries to host Software and Data Carpentry workshops. These workshops teach researchers how to use open source tools to "get more done, in less time, with less pain." Topics include: automation with Bash, version control with Git, programming and data visualization using R or Python, data "wrangling" in Excel, and data cleaning with OpenRefine.
